What We Believe
At Connection Church, our faith is centered on Jesus and His incredible love for us. Here’s what we believe and why it matters:
The Bible is Our Foundation
We believe the Bible is God’s Word—true, powerful, and our ultimate guide for life. It shows us who God is, what He’s done, and how we can live with purpose.
One True God, Three in One
There is only one God, but He exists as Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit—three persons working in perfect unity.
Jesus is Our Savior
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came to earth, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again. Through Him, we find forgiveness and new life.
Humanity is Broken, But Redeemed
God created us in His image, but sin separated us from Him. The good news? Jesus came to restore that relationship, offering grace and a fresh start to all who believe.
Salvation is a Gift
You don’t have to earn God’s love. Salvation is a free gift through faith in Jesus. When we turn to Him, we receive forgiveness and eternal life.
Baptism and Communion Matter
Water baptism is a public way of showing our faith in Jesus, and communion reminds us of His sacrifice and love. Both help us stay connected to Him.
The Holy Spirit Empowers Us
God gives us the Holy Spirit to guide, strengthen, and equip us to live out our faith boldly. The Holy Spirit brings power for everyday life and sharing Jesus with others.
Spiritual Gifts are for Today
God gives His people supernatural gifts—like healing, wisdom, and encouragement—to build up the Church and show His love to the world.
The Church is God’s Family
The Church isn’t just a building; it’s a community and family of believers. We gather to worship, grow in faith, and serve the world around us.
God Calls Us to Live Holy Lives
Following Jesus changes us. Through the Holy Spirit, we grow to be more like Him in our thoughts, actions, and love for others.
Jesus is Coming Again
One day, Jesus will return, bringing ultimate hope and justice. Until then, we live with purpose, sharing His love and truth.
God’s Kingdom is Eternal
Those who trust in Jesus will live forever with Him. There is a real heaven and a real eternity with God, and He invites us all to be part of it.
